The holidays are a beautiful time to be in the Orlando area. We usually stay at a condo near Disney World. This time around we stayed at the Windsor Hills Resort. Here are some pictures of the beautiful, tropical grounds.
Walt Disney World does not disappoint with Christmas decorations. Everything looks so magical and festive at this time of year.
We had breakfast at the Ohana in the Polynesian Resort. We felt like we were in Hawaii! The food was delicious! It was served family style. We told them that my husband and daughter were vegetarians and they immediately accommodated us with an abundance of eggs and Mickey Mouse pancakes.
The characters spent good, quality time with each of the guests. They were very entertaining.
Check out the Florida sky and the cloud formation while we were mini-golfing.
Disney Springs is a great way to enjoy Disney World without the crowds. There are many great shops and restaurants and parking is free. They also decorate very festively for the holidays. They just opened up a new section with upscale shops. It was a cloudy, cool day but still fun to walk through.

We had reservations at the Rainforest Café in Disney Springs. It looked and felt like the jungle :) Every so often the animals would come to life and make noises. This desert was so good! We all split it because our meals were very filling.
Old Town in Kissimmee is our family tradition. We visit it each time we go to Florida. They have a lot of cool stores and on Thursday nights have bike nights and Friday nights have a classic car night. A lot of bikes and cars show up for these nights. These people put a lot of work into their bikes and cars.
